U11's Report: 12th May 2012
The under 11's had their final games of the season at Soham on the 12th May. The first game of the day was against Grimsby. Kings Lynn took a 2 goal lead with both goals scored by Ethan. Grimsby managed to pull one goal back before half time to set up an exciting second half! Ethan added one more goal but Grimsby came back strong scoring 2 more goals before the end, leaving the final score 3 - 3.
The second game we was up against Peterborough. With both sides evenly matched, our defence stayed solid as did Peterboroughs. At half time it was still 0 - 0. Kings Lynn tried really hard to break down their apponents to no avail. It looked like we was going to get another draw, only for Peterborough to snatch a late goal. Leaving final score 0 - 1.
Our third and final game of the day was against Cambridge. Who raced into a 4 - 0 lead by half time. Our young team tried really hard to get back into the game, with a goal from Ryan, but Cambridge were just to strong on the day adding another 3 goals. The final score was 1 - 7.
Overall all team members gave 100% as always and player of the day goes to Ethan Shread.

U11's - 21st April 2012
On Saturday 21st April our under 11's team played at Ross Peers Sports Centre.
Our first game was against Herne Bay United. This was always going to be a tough game as Herne Bay United are unbeaten and on top of the league. Kings Lynn started really well in the first half, taking a one goal lead (scored by Ethan). We took that lead into half time, thanks to some fantastic goalkeeping from Joshua, however Herne Bay United came out strong in the second half and their experience showed as they scored 8 goals.

Our second game was against Peterborough. Kings Lynn took an early lead through Ethan, followed up by a goal from Ryan and we were 2 - 0 up by half time. In the second half Kings Lynn's defence stayed solid and they added another 4 goals (Ryan 3, Ethan 1) to win the game 6 - 0.
Our third and final game of the day was against second placed Grimsby. Once again Kings Lynn started really well taking a 1- 0 lead with a goal from Fin, however, Grimsby fought back and were 2 - 1 up at half time. In the second half Grimsby upped their game, scoring another 5 goals, Ethan and Fin scored 1 goal each, making the final score 7 - 3 to Grimsby.
Overall a very good day considering that we played the top two teams in the league. As always our youngsters gave 100% and fought very hard throughout every game.
The player of the day was Joshua Roberts who was outstanding!

U11's - 21st January 2012
The Under 11's played at Bushfields Sports Centre at Peterborough, on 21st January
The first game was against Cambridge. A very close and exciting game. King's Lynn under 11's pulled out all the stops and the end score was 9 - 7 to King's Lynn! The goal scorers were Finley (3), Ethan (5) and Ryan (1). It was a tough and challenging game,

however King's Lynn were determined to score their first points of the season.
The second game was against Herne Bay United. We always knew that this was going to be a tough game, however this young team showed great determination and managed to score 2 goals against unbeaten Herne Bay United. With the end result 10 - 2 to Herne Bay United. The Goal Scorer was Ethan (2).
The third and final game was against Peterborough. The King's Lynn defence played very well in this game and once again down to Josh's brilliant performance in goal, only allowed Peterborough to score 2 goals. The end result was 5 - 2 to King's Lynn. The goal scorers were Ethan (3), Finley (1) and Ryan (1).
The young King's Lynn under 11's really played well throughout the day and are showing improvement in there games. The player of the day went to Ryan Howlett.

U11's - 17th December 2011
This was the under 11's second tournament and was played at Burwell
The first game was against Grimsby. The first half proved a challenge to our young team with Grimsby scoring 4 and King's Lynn 1 (own goal), however, they upped their play in the second half only allowing Grimsby to score one more
goal and King's Lynn scoring 3 (own goal, Ryan Howlett and Eathan Shread). End result Grimsby 5 - King's Lynn 4!
Second game was against unbeaten Herne Bay United.

With a great performance from our Goal Keeper, Joshua Roberts, Herne Bay United were limited to just 5 goals. King's Lynn scored 2 goals from Ryan and Eathan. In the previous game Herne Bay United scored 11 goals against Cambridge, which just proves how hard our youngsters battled. A really good performance.
The third game was against Cambridge, where King's Lynn were leading 2 - 0 at half time, with goals from Ria and Finley. Cambridge came back strongly in the second half and eventually ran out 3 - 2 winners.
The under 11's played really well throughout the day and although they are still to collect their first points of the season, they are improving each game and surely its only a matter of time before they record their first victory!
Player of the day went to Ria Griffin who is normally our reserve player, however played all games due to shortage of players and did not let her team down.

U11's - 8th October 2011
The U11’s first tournament of the season was played at our home venue of Lynnsport.
Our first game was against the more experienced Cambridge team. Although we conceded 6 goals, King's Lynn managed to score 4 goals in reply.

In our second game we played Peterborough (who finished runners up in the under 11’s last year). Again a very close game, with King's Lynn defending well until Peterborough eventually run out 2 - 1 winners.
Third game was against Herne Bay United. This was a tough game for our young team. Herne Bay United went onto beat us 5 - 0. This game tested our defence and also tested our goalie Joshua Roberts. Herne bay United previously beat Cambridge 9 - 1, so the under 11’s held it together well! A good performance from the whole team.
Our last game we played Grimsby. This was always going to be a tough match, however under 11’s played with good fighting spirit. The end result was King's Lynn 3 - 10 Grimsby.
A really good effort throughout the day from each and every player. It was a good experience for the whole team including the reserves: Ria Griffin (6) and Keaton Vincent (6) who experienced their first tournament. Well done Under 11’s!
